Default Alliance announcement

I think it would be cool and helpful if in an alliance, the leaders of each guild had access to an alliance announcement, similar to the guild announcement. Only the guild leaders of each guild could view it. I am just thinking this would be very helpful to increase communication, and would be a nice convienence.

If your guilds aren't communicating, then a new feature isn't going to solve your problem.
Use the AC, and get your guilds on either Vent or TS. Have Guild Leaders that are willing and able to communicate. If you have a member willing to do it, set up an alliance website, and give members the ability to post info there.

Those suggestions are not difficult to implement, and they will help you create a healthy alliance instead of a transient one.

Not everyone uses vent/ts, not everyone uses websites..they want to play and do not want to go to a website and read about things. Our guild has been through 3 forums and the same people use them, even folks who are new never really bother to use the forums because they want to log on and play.

We do have a healthy vent enviroment but again, this alliance announcement is great to co-ordinate Ally vent in, website and special events taking place. Would be great!

Sometimes the guild leaders can't always communicate, due to things such as school, work, and timezone differences. Having the ability to easily leave a message with the other guild leaders would allow you to talk to them without needed to set aside a special time where you can both be on.

We have one. Only the leaders and officers ever seem to use it. If no-one is disciplined enough to check forums then messages aren't going to get across.

I've always supported ideas like this. Alliance notices and communication in game would be a very welcome plus.

I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to implement since we've got a guild specific thing already.
